Abel Lopez, known to family and friends as "Solorio", was born on August 30th, 1966, in the small town of Ahualulco de Mercado, Jalisco, Mexico.
As the oldest brother to 7 siblings, he traveled to the U.S at the age of 15 to provide for the family. He worked very hard and brought his mother and siblings to Yuba City, CA where they have lived for over 20 years. Abel married his sweetheart, his "gorda", Maria L. Lopez and had two children with her, Kimberly and Alexis Lopez.
Abel had an amazing work ethic as he worked for Hi & Dry Warehouse for 20 years and for District 10 Dryers for the remainder of his life. He was the biggest Cruz Azul Soccer fan and he will always be remembered for the love he had for his family, his amazing work ethic, and his dancing skills.
A viewing will be followed by a praying of the rosary at 7 pm, on July 31st, 2018, at the Lipp and Sullivan Funeral Home, 629 D Street, Marysville.
A funeral mass will follow on August 1st, 2018, at 11 am, at St. Isidore's Catholic Church, 222 Clark Ave., Yuba City, where he attended mass every Sunday. His burial will be at Sutter Cemetery on August 1st, 2018, after mass at the Church.
