At the age of 18, he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving two tours in Vietnam.
He was later stationed at Beale Air Force Base, where his commitment to service continued as a Federal Fire Inspector and Firefighter. He faithfully served for 30 years before retiring.
Following his retirement, he worked as a Security Guard for Colusa Casino and Elite Security.
In his later years, he devoted himself to caring for a family member at home, reflecting the same selflessness and dedication that defined his life.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years, Glenda; daughter, Mandy Baker; son, Jason Stewart; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 29, 2026, at 2PM at Patina Garden, 103 C Street, Marysville, CA.
During the service, a letter he wrote to his family and friends to be shared upon his passing will be read. The family warmly invites all who knew and loved him to join them in remembering and honoring the remarkable man he was.
