65, of Marysville, CA, passed away September 23, 2011. He was born on January 19, 1946 in San Francisco, CA.

He had been a fireman for the U. S. Forestry for 28 years and a U. S. Army Veteran. Arthur was a member of the V. F. W. of Rancho Cordova, CA and an avid sprint car racer. Survivors include his wife Darlene Waters, of Marysville, sons, Art Waters II, of Olivehurst, and James Waters of Rancho Cordova,; a daughter, Sheila Norris of Citrus Heights; brothers, Joseph Waters of Madera, and Larry Waters of Klamath Falls, Oregon; sisters, Joy Nagoda of Oro Valley, Arizona and Jean Reynolds of Chico. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 12:30pm on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, California with Chaplain Stephanie Powell of the Fremont-Rideout Hospice Officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 8:00 p, on Wednesday, September 28, at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel. Burial will be at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, California.
