Betty Jean Stone, 86, of Orangevale, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, September 21, 2022 at her home.

Betty, daughter of Clarence and Annabell Carender was born June 4, 1936 in Springdale, AR. Betty was united in marriage to Richard Stone on April 4, 1953 in Farmersville/Tulare, CA. They had nine children, Debra, Rick, Penny, Clarence, Ron, Kathy, Brenda, Melinda and Myshel. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and sister who treated everyone as part of the family.

Betty is survived by her brother, Billy Carender of Wasco, CA and 8 children, Debra Stone of Citrus Heights, CA, Rick Stone of Holly Lake Ranch, TX, Penny Garber of Albany, OR, Clarence Stone of Tyler, TX, Kathy Abernathy of Norfolk, NE, Brenda Patton of Orangevale, CA, Melinda Allen of Bartonville, IL, Myshel Stone of Hayfork, CA in addition to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Stone, her youngest son Ron Stone, grandchildren Mathew Reynolds, William Garner III and Kevin Stone, one great-grandchild Luca Hall, brothers Donel, Harvey and Denton Carender and her sister Teresa Ellison.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Lipp & Sullivan Funeral Home, 629 D St., Marysville, CA.

Burial will follow at Sierra View Mortuary, 4900 Olive Ave., Olivehurst, CA.
