Clarissa James, 91, of Marysville, CA, has gone to meet our Lord and Savior on March 16, 2022.

She was born in Madera, CA on March 21, 1930. She grew up in Stockton, CA where she also met the love of her life and husband of 35 years, Willie James, Sr. She was an area resident for over 60 years and was known for her cafe in Marysville.

Clarissa is survived by 2 children, Willie James, Jr. (daughter-in-law Cynthia James) and daughter Freda Venable. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Eartha Lee Henry and Dorthy Mae Fields.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 28th, 2022 at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, 2284 McGowan Parkway, Marysville, CA.
