Daniel Robert Mescher, Jr., 40, of Yuba City, passed away on October 7, 2011. He was born on November 25, 1970, and a life long resident of Yuba City.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville and was a concrete contractor for 20 years. He was a 1988 graduate of Yuba City High School.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Holly M. Mescher, his son, Jonathan Mescher his brother, Dennis Mescher, and parents Cheryl and Daniel R. Mescher Sr., all of Yuba City and his grandson, Landon Charles Paplanus of Carmichael, as well as numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jack & Alvina Mescher and Robert & Orlena Beever and his aunt Carol Noia.

Danny had a love for life and lived it to the fullest. His love for his family and friends were unconditional.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00am on Thursday, October 13, 2011, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville, with Father Xavier Godwin and Father Soane Kaniseli officiating.

Burial will be at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, CA. Memorial contributions may be made to Sutter North Hospice, 400 Plumas St., #115, Yuba City, CA 95991.
