David Burton Shawles, 88, of Marysville, passed away November 24, 2024, at home. David was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Janice Shawles; parents, Stephen and Frances Shawles; brothers, Fran and Charlie; sisters, Mary, Anna and Claire; and grandson, Devin Shawles.

He is survived by his sons, David Shawles Jr, Michael (Kellie) Shawles, and Daniel (Stephanie) Shawles; daughter, JoAnn Ross; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Viewing will be at Lipp and Sullivan, Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm at Lipp and Sullivan.

Services will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, December 12, 2024, with a mass at 11:00am. Burial to follow at Siera View Memorial Park. Potluck style reception immediately after burial at St. Joseph's Church Gynmasium.
