Debra, of Marysville, was born in Sacramento CA, to Robert Newby and Pauline Riente. She was one of eight children and moved to Yuba city in 1987.
In her early years she was a stay at home mother. She later on attended Yuba College to became a Licensed Vocational Nurse, having worked at Rideout Memorial Hospital, and Yuba City and Marysville Care Centers. She was also a Trauma intervention program volunteer. She was a nurturer and would always help those in need.
Debra is survived by her mother Pauline Newby, brothers; Larry, Bobby, Doug, Herman and Andy Newby, sisters; Joan Smith and Maureen Hicks, children; Jason Knorr, Joey and Bobby Letsinger, grandchildren; Dylan, Landon, Lacy, Milo and Levi who all love her very much.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Glad Tidings Church at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12th with a reception to follow at her home.
Services under the directions of Lipp and Sullivan Funeral Directors (530) 742-2473.
