Dorothy Uriz Watson went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2013. She was a fun loving person who enjoyed music, golf, and time spent with friends and family. "La Familia," was one of her favorite sayings. Dorothy would light up a room with her smile, laughter, and wit. She will be deeply missed.

Dorothy was born on October 6, 1920 in Marysville, California.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jimmette Ward, brothers Victor S. Uriz and John Belza, and her sisters Jay Uriz and Rose McNeil.

Dorothy was a member of Catholic Relief, Catholic Daughters, Marysville Art Club, Moose Lodge, and The Peach Tree Country Club.

Viewing will be Wednesday, September 18 at Lipp and Sullivan from 2pm to 6pm. The Rosary will be Thursday, September 19th at 10:30am at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, 7th & C Streets, Marysville, CA 95901. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am. Burial will be at Sierra View Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Catholic Relief Society, 223 8th St., Marysville, CA 95901.
