Duane Mitchell slipped the surly bonds of Earth to begin his eternal life in Heaven on Friday, March 20, 2015, at the age of 85 years.

Duane was a Veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Korean War. Before and after his military service, Duane was a lifetime farmer and had been working their Lincoln, CA ranch since 1957.

Duane is survived by Doris, his wife of 64 years; sons, Curtis (Dianna) of Lincoln, CA and Stephen (Robin) of Orange County, CA; and grandsons, Michael, Steven and Thomas.

A celebration of Duane's life will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015, at 10:00 AM at the Lipp and Sullivan Mortuary, 629 D Street, Marysville, CA. Duane's final resting place will be the Sierra View Cemetery in Linda, CA.
