Elizabeth Rose "Rosie" Springer, 93, of Hallwood, CA, passed away on October 24, 2025, at her home with family nearby.
She was born in Marysville, CA, on February 3, 1932, to Herman and Cecilia Wurm of Hallwood, CA.
She attended Cordua School, Marysville High School and Yuba College. She was a lifetime member of the Hallwood Nazarene Church and a long-time member of California Farm Bureau.
In 1952, she married the love of her life, Wayne Springer. They would spend the next 70 years together, building their home and family in Hallwood, CA.
They were rewarded with four children, 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy.
She is survived by daughter, Susan Buist (Danny); son, Steven Springer (Jo); and daughter, Janet Wooten (Todd); 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Ruby Schoenig; brothers, Johnnie and Sam Wurm; and many, many, nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, of 70 years, Wayne Springer; son, Allen; parents, Herman and Cecilia Wurm; and brother, Warren Wurm.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11 AM, at the Hallwood Community Church of the Nazarene, with a gathering in the church outreach center immediately following.
There will also be a viewing on November 6, 2025, from 4 PM to 7 PM, at Lipp and Sullivan Funeral Home in Marysville, CA.
A graveside service on November 7, 2025, at 11 AM, at Sierra View Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rosie's name to the Hallwood Community Church of the Nazarene.
