Felix was born November 12, 1950, in Jalcocotan, San Blas, Nayarit, Mexico, to Guillermo and Fidencia Carbajal.

Jalcocotan is a very old and small town nestled in the beautiful green mountains of Nayarit, and not far from the Pacific Ocean. Like many before him, the attraction of going north for better opportunities was a path he chose early on.

His early years in the United States were spent working in Tacoma, Washington, among the apple and cherry orchards. After that, Felix headed south to Yuba City, where he made many friends. His work career spanned over 20 years for Onstott Dusters and another 5 years with District 10 Dryers up until his recent passing.

His energy and wry smile were contagious among all those he worked with and he truly was a joy to be around. A work ethic and drive unequaled by many half his age, Felix was never one that liked to stop moving. His garden was his reminder of home. He grew lemons, oranges, avocados, and chilis. He had many lady friends as well, a dedicated companion to some with many trips to local casinos seeking his fortune. In the end, it was all of us that were fortunate, the ones crossing paths with a quite unique individual and a personality that will be remembered for a long time.

Felix is survived by his son, Juan and wife, Erica of Marysville, and 3 daughters, Estella, Lili, and Maria, all of Mexicali. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son Jose.

A funeral will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018, 11:00am, at Lipp and Sullivan, 629 D Street, Marysville. A celebration of life will be immediately following.

As per the family's request, Felix will be returned to Mexico for his final resting place in Mexicali.
