Florentina Sara "Tina" Abel was born August 11th 1941, (more convincingly 1931), in Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines. She peacefully got her VIP pass to enter the Pearly Gates while surrounded by the endless love and support of her family on June 4th 2021, at 3:20PM. Florentina was predeceased by her mother, Amelia Sapad and her father, Jose Saduar; and now joins her gracious husband, Kenneth James Abel.
Tina is survived by her chosen sister, Trinidad Matta; the family of her son, Glen Richard Polite (DeeDee Polite) and her grandchildren, Sydney Elizabeth Polite, Peyton Glen Polite; the family of her daughter, Carla Ann Rose (Donato Arteaga), her granddaughter, Sara Ann Arteaga (Joseph Cisco Gonzalez) and her great-grandchildren, Zoey Anae Thompson, Sophie Rose Gonzalez, and Baby Carlie Rose Gonzalez on the way; the family of her daughter, Tina Maire Rose with Jeffrey Scott Harnish II (Herman Ray Matta), her grandson, Rico Rey Matta (Hugo Francisco Fuentes) great-grand, pups Piggy and Bowzer; her granddaughter, Ajza Qure Matta (Michael James DePalma Jr.) and great-grandchildren, Carmine Abel DePalma "BANG BANG" and another blessing on the way! Tina is survived by the endless love and support from Marco Antonio Matta, the Matta Family, the Carter Family, the Lizama Family, the Pino Family, the McKenzie Family and the hearts of so many more relatives and friends.
Tina's wisdom and love will continue to grow and live on through her legacy, which focuses on faith, love, unmatched humor, and to always make sure that anyone who entered her home left fed and full.
Funeral services will begin with her Viewing at 10:00 AM at Lipp and Sullivan. Rosary and Mass will be held at Saint Joseph Church on Thursday, June 10th 2021, at 11:30 AM - Father Patrick will be officiating. Burial will take place at the Sutter Cemetery and will be followed with a Celebration of Life held at Ellwood Munger Hall.
In lieu of other tributes, remembrances can be made responsibly, or irresponsibly, by gambling at the casino. Tina wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
