Frances, 84, passed away on February 6, 2012. She was born in Meadowlands, Minnesota on January 11, 1928.

Frances was a Teacher's Assistant for Butte Vista School for 20 years. After retirement she spent many hours in her yard tending her beautiful roses. She loved working her word find puzzles, walking, clothes shopping and a daily ice cream. She also loved her special dog she named Tina. Frances also enjoyed being a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband Vic Uriz, three brothers, and two sisters.

Survivors include daughters, Mary Goss (Robert) and Vicki Lemire, both of Marysville; brother, Johnny Gazo, and sister Mary Ghidotti, both of Arkansas.

A Rosary will be recited on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 7 p.m. at Lipp & Sullivan Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Marysville with Father Godwin Xavier officiating.

Burial will be at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, CA.
