Frances Anne "Nan" Cantrell passed away on June 10th, 2011 in Palo Alto, California. Born in San Antonio, Texas on April 29th, 1924, Nan was a long-time resident of Loma Rica where she and her husband Tom purchased a home in 1973, and moved there on a permanent basis when she retired from Mills Memorial Hospital (San Mateo) in 1984. She absolutely loved living in the country where she could enjoy wildlife and nature on a daily basis, and especially loved watching the migrating geese. Nan was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Tom Cantrell and her sister Mary Schaefer. She is survived by her five children, John Morrison (Karen); Cindy Morrison (Ty); Toni Willis (Bill); Amy Morrison, and Nan Daley (Kevin). She is also survived by her granddaughter, Colleen Daley; her grandson, Cameron Morrison; her brothers, John Coad and Peter Coad; as well as many nieces and nephews.
