Francis Carl Stanley, 79 of Marysville, CA passed away October 12, 2012. Born September 5, 1933 in Pampa, Texas, he was a Yuba Sutter resident for 75 years.

Mr. Stanley worked as an auto mechanic for Sears in Yuba City for 30 years. He also served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Korean war.

Survivors include his wife, Dovie L. Stanley of Marysville, CA; sons: Charles C. Montgomery of Middleton, Idaho, and Ron Montgomery of Marysville, CA; daughters: Charlotte Smith Scarbrough of Sheridan, CA, Linda Montgomery of Marysville, CA and Juanita Gay Montgomery Bennett of Marysville, CA; daughter in law, Agnes Montgomery of Middleton, Idaho; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and six great- great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Montgomery; six brothers; and two sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, CA with Pastor Dave Peterson of Loma Rica Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, October 19, 2012 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel.
