Garland Earl Shrader's Obituary
Garland Earl Shrader, 77, of Yuba City, CA passed away March 5, 2012 at Rideout Hospital. Born January 2, 1935 in Santa Anna, TX, he was a Yuba Sutter area resident since 1979.
He was a retired Lt. Colonel in the Air Force with 30 years of service. Garland was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Mary M. Schrader of Yuba City, CA; son, Greg Schrader of Tulsa, OK; daughters: Teresa Engstrom of Arlington, TX and Marci Schrader of Yuba City, CA; brother, Darwin Schrader of Vernon, TX; grandchildren: Shari Campanell, Lisa Schrader, Jennie Geenan, Andrew Engstrom, Grace Nicewander, Benjamin Engstrom, Stephen Engstrom, Nathan Engstrom, Nicholas Engstrom, and Mary Claire Engstrom.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Services will be in El Reno, OK and burial at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Union City, OK. Viewing will be at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel, Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 4:00pm until 6:00 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society .
