Georgina (Silva) Brinkley, age 85, of Yuba City, CA, passed away of natural causes Saturday, May 19th, 2018, surrounded by family. She was born August 4, 1933 in Danville, CA, to Manuel Silva and Hilda (Ferreira) Silva.

Georgina married Rex Brinkley May 27, 1978, in Reno, NV. followed by a Catholic church wedding in 1995. Georgina was the manager of Notre Dame Thrift Store for 4 years. She was a devout member of St. Joseph's Catholic Parish. Georgina enjoyed spending time with family, knitting, doing crossword puzzles, making Google Bird cards, watching old western movies, and forwarding silly emails to her friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, Rex; children, Scott Luedemann, Marie Hammond, Gina McCarley, Debora Brinkley, Rebecca Chavarria and David Brinkley; brother, Alvin Silva; nephew, Mark Torres; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister, Arlene.

Funeral Service is Thursday, May 31st, 2018, 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 702 C St, Marysville, CA 95901. Graveside service to follow at Sutter Cemetery, 7200 Butte House Rd, Sutter, CA 95982. Reception immediately following at Village Green Mobile Home Park Community Center, 1155 Pease Rd, Yuba City, CA 95991.
