Geraldine Jones DuVall, 90, passed away on July 23, 2011. She was born September 20, 1920 in Yuba City and was raised in the Waldo Spenceville area. She attended Waldo Grammar School later graduating from Marysville High School in 1938. Her parents were David Nevans and Elba Louise Jones – her father being a prominent rancher in the Waldo area and later Wheatland. She moved to Sacramento in 1941 and worked at McClellan AFB from 1951 – 1980, returning to Wheatland in 1984 to care for her brothers Allan and Willard. She was a member of the Wheatland Chapter Order of Eastern Star for 71 years. She was predeceased by three older brothers: David R. Jones, Willard E. Jones and Gerald Allan Jones. She is survived by a niece, Mary Lou Chambers of Red Bluff, a great nephew, David Fraser and two great great nephews, Daniel & Ryan. She lived with her long time companion Jerry Haas.
