James Rodgers "Jim" Davidson, of Marysville, CA, passed away on December 21, 2022. He was 65.
Jim was born July 1957, in Wurzburg, Germany, moving to the states when he was two years old. He spent most of his life in the Yuba/Sutter area. He graduated from Live Oak High School in 1976, where he played Football and Track and Field.
In 1992, he received the California Medal of Valor and Proclamation from the City of Yuba City. Jim had saved an elderly woman from her burning mobile home, risking his own life.
He was a true hero with a great big heart and strength like no other. Jim loved his family, friends, fishing, gardening and most of all "life"; he lived his to the fullest.
Survived by his wife, Alanna; his beloved Beagle, Shelby; mom, Olga; dad, Brantley; mum, Gillian; sons, Jeremy (Nikki), and Brantley; grandsons, Trey (Alaina), and Zaivyn; brothers, Gary (Nina), Ron (Tracy), sisters, Kathryn, Megan (Tyler), Joanna, Becky (Frank), Angie (Joe), Mandy (Dean); in-laws, Jacquelyn, David (Regina, and Stephanie.
There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, February 4, 2023, 11:30 am at the Yuba City Moose Lodge, 205 S. Walton, Yuba City, CA, 95993.
