Jany was born January 17, 1927 to Charles and Eleanor McIntyre in Chico, CA, but lived in Dobbins, CA until 1935. Jane passed away October 27, 2013 in Woodland Skilled Nursing Facility.

She entered the Dominican Convent after Nurses training. She worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno for 17 years, eventually volunteering for the Jesuits in Sitka, Alaska. After leaving the convent, she moved back to Dobbins and worked at Rideout Hospital.

After retiring, she was active in various community organizations. She loved to travel and pan for gold.

She is survived by a brother, Walter McIntyre of Yuba City; and 14 nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held a Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dobbins Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 10:00 am with Fr. Roy Doner officiating. Burial will be in Keystone Cemetery, Dobbins, CA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dobbins, PO Box 93 Dobbins, CA 95935.
