Obituary

We are sad to announce the passing of our beautiful angel Jeanne Zermeno. She went to be with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She passed peacefully with her family by her side at home.

Jeanne was born on October 19, 1935 in the city of Redondo Beach, CA. Born to her parents Vicente and Eugenia Lopez, she attended school in Delano, CA. After moving to Rio Oso, CA she met the love of her life Carlos, they were married for 58 years. Together they raised 4 children and settled in Marysville, CA. Jeanne was a homemaker.

Family was at the top of her list. She loved celebrations, dancing with Carlos was something that she loved to do, they moved gracefully across the dance floor. Jeanne was adored by all who knew her, especially her husband. She loved having dinners, birthdays and big get togethers with all the family. If you were a friend you were family. She liked music, very much; she sang songs up until her last days of life.

Jeanne would take long walks with her son Danny all around Marysville and spoke to everyone along the way; she was a beautiful soul. She had many friends and family members, as she comes from a family of 10 siblings. Babies brought joy to her life. She held them and would adore their sweetness. Traveling was an adventure with her, she made everyone in the car laugh. She liked going to Los Angeles to visit family and going to the ocean. She was a HUGE baseball fan, GO GIANTS! You could hear her rooting for her team down the street!

Saying Goodbye was hard for us all, but knowing she is at peace brings us much hope. She will be greatly missed.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her daughter Rachel Zermeno Echavarria and granddaughter Vanessa Echavarria.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years Carlos Zermeno of Marysville. Children: Vincent Zermeno (Jeanne) of Marysville, Martin Zermeno (Arlene) of Yuba City and Daniel Zermeno of Marysville, brother Victor Lopez (Susan) of Lincoln and sister Rachel Lopez of Sacramento. 8 grandchildren: Michael Marquard, Nicole Echavarria, Steven Zermeno, Adrian Zermeno, Lorane Ramirez, Ritchie Ramirez Martin Zermeno Jr. and Andrea Zermeno. 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
