Kelly Monize, 35, passed away on December 31, 2021, due to illness.

Born October 1986, in San Jose, California, his family later moved to Yuba County area where he lived for 25 years. Kelly graduated from Career Preparatory Charter School in 2004. Kelly was a Machinist for 17 years at RobbJack Corporation and recently started working at Precision Fluid Controls in Lincoln.

He was a devoted father who loved playing guitar, recording songs, and teaching his children the love of music. Kelly enjoyed riding his Harley, dirt biking riding, hunting, shooting, and working on his big 4-wheel drive copper Chevy truck for rock climbing.

Kelly is survived by his parents, Chris Monize, Regina Haggard (David); his children, Casey and Breanna Monize; sisters, Corrinne Malecha, and Megan Monize; stepbrother, David Haggard III; his partner, Ashley Hinnebusch; her daughters, Alexis, and Aaliyah. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Barbara Monize, and Norman and Carol Mello; and his stepbrother, Daniel Haggard.

Kelly will be missed by his family and friends and all who knew him.

Services are scheduled for 11:00am, Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Wheatland Community Fellowship Church, 4753 Wheatland Road, Wheatland, California.
