Kyle Logan Long entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2026. Born September 15, 1990, Kyle was a lifelong resident of Yuba County. Kyle was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and gardening. He would cover the backyard in endless flowers and plants, one year growing giant pumpkins for the family in the fall. Kyle was fascinated with art and taught himself to paint and sculpt, opting to create stuff out of anything lying around the house. When he was relaxing, it was usually in the company of his dog Ginger. Kyle had a big heart and always took the time to help anyone he could. He held many jobs throughout his life, but one of his favorites was as an in-house assistant, where he helped care for people in need of an extra set of hands. He built a lot of strong relationships and touched many lives. As a young man, Kyle discovered religion and used it as a tool to guide his personal healing journey. He dedicated most of his free time to studying scripture and was a weekly attendee at his local church. Kyle's proudest achievement in life was his two children who meant everything to him. Kyle was welcomed into heaven on April 9th 2026, by his grandparents Leonard and Ollie Long and Charles and Charlene Watters; his uncle's Gary Long and Joe Balchus, his aunt Sue ODaniel and his beloved dog Ginger. He is survived by two children, Aubree and Landen; his parents, Gerald and Tammy Long; siblings Jaime(Jackie), Brandy(Stefan), Taylor(Kira), Ricky(Holly), and Kayla; aunt Brenda Balchus, and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Services will be on May 9th at 2:00 at the Truth Tabernacle Church located at 5206 Tulip Rd, Marysville, CA 95901. In place of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in his name to Truth Tabernacle or Habitat for Humanity.
