Leonard A. De Palma, 81, of Marysville, passed away on July 27, 2022. Leonard was born on January 29, 1941, to his parents Onofrio and Rosalie De Palma in San Jose, Ca. In 1958 his family moved to Marysville, Ca. where he attended Marysville High School and graduated with the class of 1959.

After graduating from high school, Leonard went on to work alongside his family at De Palma Orchards. Farming was his true passion, and his greatest life's work was building and expanding the family farm alongside his sisters, cousin and his nephew Tony thereafter. He was never happier than when he was on a tractor or driving down the highway admiring his orchards. Leonard was a friend to many, and truly enjoyed being a part of the farming community.

Leonard is survived by his wife Ruth Earlene De Palma, his sister Leona McGrath (Mike), and a large extended family.

Leonard was proceeded in death by Onofrio De Palma, Rosalie De Palma, Barbara De Palma and Mary Rose De Palma.

Per his wishes, graveside service will be held at Sierra View Memorial Park on August 5, 2022, at 2:00 PM.
