Mabel May Poston, 97, of Marysville, CA passed away May 2nd, 2011 at her residence. Born November 13th, 1913 in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, she was a Yuba Sutter area resident for 74 years. She was a homemaker. She attended the New Life Assembly Church in Olivehurst, CA. Survivors include sons: Jim Poston of Yuba City, CA, and Dan Poston of Citrus Heights, CA; daughters: Beulah Sanderson of Olivehurst, CA, and Janet Barbieri of Marysville, CA; sister, Issy Reed of Yuba City, CA; 10 grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren, 13 great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Poston, a daughter, Jeannie Poston; two brothers; four sisters and two great- grandchildren. Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, May 6th, 2011 at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel with Pastor Al Moody of the New Life Assembly in Olivehurst officiating. Private Burial will be at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, CA on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to Sutter North Hospice, 400 Plumas St., Yuba City, CA 95991.
