Maria Concepcion Longoria Avila of Marysville, passed away December 14, 2016. Born December 8, 1927 in Zain Alto Zacatecas, Mexico, she has been a Yuba-Sutter resident since 1964. Maria was a beautiful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by 5 sons, Joseph A. Avila, Manuel A. Avila, Raul Avila, Javier F. Avila and Victor M. Avila; 6 daughters, Frances Arteaga, Carmen Gardner, Lydia Ramirez, Bertha Avila, Amparo Avila-Walker and Guadalupe Cardenas; 32 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alfonso Avila in 1978, Juan Carlos Avila in 2001 and Maria Reyes in 2014.

Viewing will be held on December 20, 2016, 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., followed by Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Lipp & Sullivan. Church service will be held on December 21, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville, CA. Burial will follow at Sierra View Cemetery.
