Mary Catherine Ingvoldsen passed away August 22, 2012. She was born October 14th, 1921 in Oroville, CA She lived in the country, off Middle Honcut Road. She graduated from Gridley High School. She went to Sacramento to work at McClellen Field at the State Library, plus she drove street cars and buses for Sacramento City. After that, she came back to Marysville and had various jobs in Yuba City and Marysville: Hust Bros., Sutter County, and the Marysville Veterinary Center. She also was a volunteer at the Rideout Auxiliary Pink Trunk, a thrift shop located in Marysville.
Mary Catherine is survived by her daughter, Margaret Hunt and son-in-law Steven Hunt of North Highlands, CA; two grandsons, Rusell Alan and wife Cassi Hunt of Rio Linda, CA and Richard Hunt of North Highlands, CA; two great - grandchildren, Rusell Steven and Taytum Renee Hunt of Rio Linda, CA; a nephew, Robert and wife, Jennifer Gengler of Yuba City; two great- grand nieces, Courtney Gengler of Yuba City and Amanda Gengler of New York City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Katherine Gengler, brothers, Herman Gengler and Leslie Gengler; and a sister, Margaret Christensen.
A Rosary will be performed Tuesday, September 4th at 7pm at Lipp & Sullivan, 629 D. St., Marysville, CA 95901. A private family burial of ashes will take place in the Yuba City Cemetery.
