Mary Lee Guynes
Mary Lee Guynes, age 78, of Wheatland, passed away on February 16, 2016. Mary Lee was born on July 3, 1938 in Linda.
Mary Lee was a resident of Wheatland for 54 years. She was a teacher of Physical Education, Science, and History for 30 years. She taught at Wheatland High School, East Nicolaus High School, Alicia Middle School and Yuba Gardens. She loved camping, fishing, hunting, family and friends.
She is survived by daughters, Natalie Guynes of Wheatland, Romney McDonald (Mike) of Sparks, NV and Johnnie May Thompson (Ernie) of Wheatland; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold E. Guynes.
Services will be Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Wheatland Southern Baptist Church, 712 Olive Street, Wheatland, CA 95692 with Pastor Rick Daughterty officiating. Burial will be at Wheatland Cemetery, Wheatland.
Visitation will be Monday, February 22, 2016 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Lipp & Sullivan Chapel.
