Mary Faye Johnson, 91, of Marysville, CA, passed away on June 26, 2017, surrounded with loving family by her side. She was born December 16, 1925, in Oklahoma and resided in Marysville since 1962.

Mary was known, and will be remembered, as a strong woman with a big heart that never turned anyone away. She retired from Sunsweet in 1994. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and the Foster Care Agency.

Survivors include her son, James Branum; daughters, Helen Johnson, Mary Alice Cooper, Donna Jarvis, Cheryl Orozco, and Reba Peacock; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren and great -great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Walter Glass and Chic Freeney Glass; husband, Walter Edward Johnson; twelve siblings; sons, Jerry Branum and Tommy DeWayne Branum; and daughter, Rita Branum.

The viewing will be Friday, June 30, 2017, from 2 - 8pm and services, officiated by Pastor Dorn Sr., on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at 11am, at Lipp and Sullivan Funeral Directors. Mary will be laid to rest immediately following services at Sierra View Mortuary, 4900 Olive Ave.,Olivehurst, CA.
