On September 23, 2022, on the eve of her 59th wedding anniversary, Mary Patricia Stoller's celestial spirit left her earthly body to return home to her Heavenly Father. Mary was born September 14, 1946 to Edward and Winifred Brooks.
Mary was survived by her loving and devoted husband Charles Stoller, the man who was her best friend and put the sparkle in her eyes; Thomas Stoller (Gwen), the son who gave her the gift of motherhood, James Stoller (Michelle) the son that brought out her greatest skills of motherhood and Victoria Anderson (Larry), the daughter who inherited her greatest skill, a nurturer and the bond that keeps the family together.
Mary placed the highest of all values on family. Sacrifices for family and others were daily occurrences for Mary. She chose the path of raising children and providing a safe and warm environment for them to flourish over pursing her personal goals.
Mary was an animal lover. She worked many years at the local animal rescues. She never met a dog she didn't love or want to bring home. She placed service at a high level of callings in her life. She was very active in her local church, spending much of her time working at the church's pantry helping feed the less fortunate.
Mary and Charlie enjoyed spending extended time in their garden together. You could never leave their house during the summer without a bushel of tomatoes, from that vegetable garden. She loved to cook and that love extended to cookbooks. Going above and beyond with food was best according to Mary, better more than not enough. Her kids would never let her use jarred tomato sauce for her spaghetti.
Mary loved a good prank, especially when she was the one pulling it. She will always be remembered as vibrant, full of life, having the best laugh, warmest and friendliest smile.
