Maryetta Filby Jones' Obituary
Maryetta Filby Jones passed away on April 26, 2012. She was 94 years old. Born April 26, 1918 in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was a Yuba Sutter resident for more than 60 years.
Known as "Juke Box Mary" in the 1940's, she was employed by Hub Amusement to change the records and song labels in juke boxes in the Marysville area. She was also a regular on the Y-S transit, earning the nickname "the Rider". She formerly maintained a table at the Simpson Lane Flea Market.
Her family includes three children, Wanda Jones of Yuba City, Jan White of Medford, OR and the late John D. Jones; plus several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.
