Maureen Catherine Shipley,71, of Yuba City, CA, passed away at her residence with her family at her side on December 4, 2011. Born November 5, 1940 in San Francisco, CA, she was a Yuba-Sutter area resident for 31 years. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Jerry Shipley of Yuba City, CA; sons: Martin G. Shipley of Vacaville, CA, and Jeff C. Shipley (Kathleen) of Yuba City, CA; daughter Stacy Ann Waters (Richard) of Yuba City, CA; grandchildren: Gerald Shipley (Chendra), Christopher Shipley, Brandon Rojas, Vanessa Waters, Nicholas Curtis Shipley, Candice Britt, Alexander D. Shipley, Mc Kinzie C. Waters, Max M. Shipley; great grandchild Isabella Shipley.

Preceded in death by her parents Lourd and Hanna McKinnon, and a brother Gerald Duncan McKinnon.

A Rosary and Chapel Services will be held at Lipp & Sullivan Chapel on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Father Manuel Silva of St. Isidore's Catholic Church Yuba City Officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM on Thursday at Lipp & Sullivan before the funeral.

Burial will at Browns Valley Cemetery, Browns Valley, CA.
