Michael Robert Kast was born on April 9, 1968 in Newark, NJ and passed away at the age of 47 on August 22, 2015 at Oak Valley Hospital Oakdale, CA. Michael was a former resident of Yuba-Sutter area.

Survivors include his parents; Robert and Norma Kast of Oakdale, CA, sisters; Lani Goff of Oroville, CA and Linda of Sacramento, CA.

Visitation will be at 2:00 pm and rosary at 7:00 pm on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville, with Father Manuel Ponce officiating. Burial will be at the Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, CA.
