Minnie entered into this world July 10, 1933 in Lampasses, Texas to proud parents Judson and Ellen Moseley. They moved to California in the early 1940's where she lived the larger part of her life. She crossed over to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at her home, surrounded by her family after a lengthy battle with cancel on April 4, 2012 in Olivehurst, California.

Minnie faithfully and lovingly worked along side her husband Fred, a Pastor, and was deeply loved by the congregations they served. Minnie is remembered most for her beautiful smile, tender and compassionate heart and her love and commitment to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and above all, her love of Jesus.

She and her husband Fred loved just 'being together', doing things together and being with their family, whom she adored. She did not require a lot of material things to make her happy, just a lot of love.

She is survived by her husband and sweetheart Fred Gene Nickell, of fifty years; two daughters Rowena Ivonne Fuhrer of Olivehurst, Rhonda Sue Peterson of Oroville; and a son Charles Rhett Brown of Portland, Oregon; a sister Rena Mae McCaslin of Palermo and a brother Rockey Moseley of Oroville; three grandchildren, Seth, Amanda and Tamara' four great-grandchildren Stephan, Samuel, Seraphim, and Damien Tristen. All of whom she cherished and adored.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Hollis and Otis Moseley, and two sisters, Clova Lee Osborn and Cleo Reed.

If you were to ask Minnie her greatest desire she would, without hesitation, say to know her family and friends all came to know and experience Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Nothing less would bring greater joy to her heart.

Her husband Fred, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will miss her earthly presence deeply. But know that she is in a far better place looking eagerly to a home coming of her family and friends to know the joy and peace she is now experiencing. (John 14:1-6)

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 9 at 11 a.m. at the Feather River Baptist Church in Olivehurst. Pastor Charles Woods and Reverend Lyle Paul will be officiating. There will be a viewing Sunday, April 8 from 3-6 p.m. at Lipp and Sullivan in Marysville.
