Nettie Minnie Burgess, 101, of Wheatland, passed away on February 3, 2014 at River Valley Care Center, Live Oak. Born April 4, 1912 in Twin Creek, AR, she was a resident of Wheatland, CA for 60 years.

Survivors include grandsons: Rusty Koller of Coeur D' Alene, ID, Scott Koller of Wheatland, CA, Eric Koller, Yuba City, CA and Ben Koller, Susanville, CA; nine great-grandchildren; seven great- great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Burgess Sr.; son, John Edward Burgess Jr.; daughter, Janice Marie Koller; sister, Birdy Pankey; brothers, Rudolph Thompson, Woodrow Thompson, Gene Thompson and Clarence Thompson.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel.

Services will be Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Wheatland Community Fellowship Church of God, Wheatland, CA with Pastor John Burns officiating. Burial will be at Wheatland Cemetery, Wheatland, CA.
