Patsy Dean Trent, a long time resident of Yuba City, California, passed away on September 28, 2018. She was born on March 17, 1935, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, to William and Dollie Grogan,

Patsy moved with her family to the West Coast in the 1940's, where she lived in Washington, Oregon, and various parts of California, before finally settling down in the Yuba Sutter area in early 1950.

On May 14, 1951, she married David Trent. They spent the next 61 years together raising their family. She leaves a legacy of love for everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her sons, Joel and Shane Trent of Yuba City, CA; daughter, Capatolla Cardoza of Yuba City, CA; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Trent of Yuba City, CA; brothers, Vern Grogan of Eagle Point, OR and Virgil Grogan of Portland, OR; grandson, John Cardoza of Olivehurst, CA; and great-grandchildren, Jazmine, Shane, Jeremy, and Dani.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Trent; sons, Monroe and Cole; and daughter, Rachel.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018, from 2-6 pm, at Lipp and Sullivan Funeral Directors, 629 D Street, Marysville. Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 3, 2018, 11 am, at Sutter Cemetery.
