Raymond Edgar Munson peacefully passed on Friday, May 3, 2018 at his home with family. He was born October 15, 1925 in Oklahoma. He met the love of his life while enlisted in the Navy during WWII. Wanna George and Raymond Munson married quickly and remained married until her passing on May 20, 2013.

In the Navy, Raymond earned several honors and medals. Ray and Wanna were married 63 years in which they travelled all over fishing, camping and jeeping.

Ray leaves behind identical twin daughters Sherry Thomason and Sharon Frailey (spouse Eugene). Ray had 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

We will miss him immensely. He taught us how to live well and enjoy life.

Services for Raymond will be held at Peoria Cemetery on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 2:30 pm with a gathering following at the LR Lion's club.
