It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Robert Lee Carr, 68, on May 25, 2023. Robert was surrounded by his wife and children as he passed away after a long, hard fought battle with Chronic Leukemia.

Robert was born January 5, 1955, in Riverside, CA, and passed away at Rideout Hospital in Marysville, CA.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Brooks Carr and Louise Mae Carr; and his older brother, Dan Carr.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Theresa Ann Carr (Beeler); his six children: sons, Jacob Brooks Carr (Kelli), Christopher Arthur Carr (Brooke), Joseph Robert Carr (Ashley), Trevor Douglas Carr, Todd Jason Carr; and daughter Tori Ann Carr; and nine grandchildren all of Yuba City and his younger brother, Tommy Roy Carr of Idaho.

Robert spent 33 years in the Pipe Trades with 17 years as Business Manager for Local Union 228 of Yuba City.

Robert was lucky enough to spend over 50 years, 45 married, with his wife Teri where their love grew and flourished into a large family with six children and nine grandchildren. Robert and Teri met in Marysville, CA, where they attended Marysville High School. After which Robert joined the pipe trades and they traveled for work together living in both Utah and Colorado for periods of time before returning to Marysville and eventually settling down in Yuba City, CA, for the past 35 years.

Robert spent his life sharing his love for the outdoors. Whether it was chasing a trophy deer through the mountains of Idaho, calling the mallards into the duck blind or waiting for the trophy fish to take the end of his line, he always enjoyed being outdoors. Camping was another one of Robert's passions that he instilled in all of his children and grandchildren. Throughout his years, he passed along all his tips and tricks to make every family camping trip one to remember.

As his six children and grandchildren got older, his passion changed to watching them play, compete and succeed in various sports. Starting with little league in Sutter Area and eventually throughout their time at Sutter Union High School. Nothing made Robert happier than seeing his family succeed in every sport they played while attending Sutter High School where the Carr name became well known by the community. Robert will truly be missed by all.

Service will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the Methodist Church First United located at 730 D St., Marysville, CA, starting at 11:00 am.
