Robert Rivera Gomez 82, of Marysville, CA passed away August 26, 2011 at his residence. Born in Oakland, CA on October 29, 1928 he was a resident of the Yuba Sutter area for 24 years. Robert was a Mechanic for 25 years and served in the Army during the Korean War. Survivors include daughters, Deborah Gomez and Lucy Farner, both of Marysville, CA; grandchildren: Feliciano Pena, Robert Ledesma, Gumaro Sanudo, Johnny Alfaro, Atheena Martinez, Andrea Martinez, James Johnson, and Jamie Johnson; great- grandchildren: Mateo Pena and Anthony Christie. He is also survived by two brothers and four sisters. A Rosary and Chapel Services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel with Father Godwin Xavier from St. Joseph's Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00pm until the Services at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel.
