Robert Habel 79, passed away peacefully September 9, 2012 after a brief illness. Born in Oakland, CA, he grew up working on his grandparents cattle ranch in San Ramon CA. A member of the IBEW for 50 years, he learned his electrical skills in the Coast Guard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite "Sue" Habel. He is survived by his daughters Linda Armstrong (Mike) of Lakeport, CA and Judy Carrico (Forrest) of Mountain House CA, grandsons Joshua Armstrong and Jared Armstrong and his great-granddaughter Riley Armstong.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday October 6, 2012 at Lipp and Sullivan Mortuary, 629 D Street, Marysville CA 95901. Inurnment will be at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetary, Dixon CA. In lieu of flowers the family asks that Memorial Contributions be made to Sutter North Hospice, 400 North Plumas Blvd., Suite 115, Yuba City, CA 95991.
