Robert Vernon Haining assed away April 27, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. Born February 10, 1932 in Dorchester, IL.

Bob was a lifelong resident of Marysville. He moved to the area at the age of 12 and attended Marysville High School after which he served 4 years in the Navy from 1951-1955. He returned to the Marysville area where he met and married the love of his life, Ilene. They raised 5 children together.

Bob worked 18 years at Crystal Creamery followed by the purchase of Bob's Beehive Market in Yuba City which he owned for 25 years until his retirement.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years Ilene Haining of Marysville; son Robert Haining Jr. of Marysville; daughter Sandra Seale of Escondido, CA; son Steven Haining of Marysville; daughter Donna Haining of Salem, OR; son David Haining of Salem, OR; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his father Robert Haining, mother and step-father Edith & Charles Jacobs, and sister Dorothy Atcosta.

Memorial service will be at 1PM Saturday May 5, 2012 at New Beginnings Church, 616 C Street, Marysville.
