Roberto, 65, passed away September 14, 2012 at his home. He was born July 13, 1947 in Jalisco, Mexico and was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 30 years.

Roberto was a farmer for 35 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife Elva Garcia of Marysville, CA, sons: Erasmo, Cesar, and Roberto Garcia, all of Marysville, CA, Alvaro Garcia of Strathmore, CA; daughter Elva Cortez of Plumas Lake, CA; mother Consuelo Garcia of Mexico; brothers: Jose Garcia of Mexico, Jose Guadalupe Garcia of Olivehurst, CA; Moises Garcia of Spring Hill, TN; Juan Garcia of Chicago, IL; Esiquio Garcia of Richgrove, CA; and Jesus Garcia of Ruston, LA; sisters: Margarita Garcia of Olivehurst, CA; Consuelo Zaragoza and Lorena Garcia, both of Spring Hill, TN; Elva Munoz of Indio, CA, and nine grandchildren.

Visitation was held Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 2pm-7pm at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7 pm.

A Mass Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Juan Perez officiating.

Burial will be at Sutter Cemetery.
