Ruth Farmer passed away on April 24th, 2016. She was born Emma Ruth Rachel Fairey on February 11, 1922 in Floydada, Texas. She was the fifth child in a family of eight and was the last surviving sibling. Her family moved to the Rio Oso area in 1936 from Plainview, Texas. She was a resident of Wheatland since 1955. She married the love of her life, George, on December 31, 1939.



She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Lannom of Reno, Susan Tatarazuk of Marysville, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George, son David, and grandson Jason Acuff.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 30th at the First Christian Church in Wheatland at 11:00 A.M. with refreshments afterward. The address is 215 Main St. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

The funeral services are under the direction of Lipp & Sullivan in Marysville.
