Stanley Leonard Anderson, 77, of Smartsville, CA, passed away on August 10, 2024, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Stanley was born in Marysville, CA, on March 11, 1947, to Howard and Margaret Anderson. Stanley co-owned and operated Anderson's Auto Wreckers in Linda, CA, with his father and brothers.

Stanley was married to Linda on September 4, 1965. They were married for 59 years.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Linda; his son, Wayne, and his son Wendell (Tammy); his six grandchildren, Alyssa, Misty, Cole, Zachary, Marina, Mikayla; his eight great - grandchildren, with two more expected this year; his sisters, Nona Brooke of Marysville, Pat Wilson of Redding, Verna Gouker of Marysville; his brother, James Anderson of Oroville; and other beloved family and friends.

Stanley is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Margaret Anderson; his brothers, Wiley and Darrell Anderson; and his sister, Lynn (Sis) Shires.

Stanley was a life long Yuba Sutter Resident who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with a special love for pheasant hunting. There was nothing more important to Stanley than his family and close friends.

The Celebration of Life will be held at Western Gateway Park in Penn Valley, CA, on September 29, 2024, at 11 am and lunch will be provided.
