Willie Richard Toon, 98, of Oregon House, passed away on October 30, 2011 at the Yuba Skilled Nursing Center. He was born on January 24, 1913 in Akins, Oklahoma. He had been a Yuba Sutter resident since 1949 and worked in agriculture for 60 years.

Survivors include sons, Virgil Toon of Chanute, KS and Kenneth Toon of El Paso, TX; daughters, Billie Jean Farris of Midland, TX and Pat Dahms of Oregon House; sisters, Sylvia Campbell of Sutter, CA and Mary Chittenden of Willows, CA, twelve grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Keystone Cemetery in Dobbins, CA with Reverend Doug Hileman officiating. Burial will be at the Keystone Cemetery in Dobbins, CA.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sutter North Hospice, 400 Plumas St. #115, YC, CA.
